The Horse Cure The Power of Partnering with Horses for Working Through Trauma and Attachment Issues

Cami is the Clinical Director and Lead Therapist at UBC. She has been with UBC since the beginning and has been in the field of social work for 20 years. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families who have experienced various types of trauma, family changes, and behavioral issues including intense emotional issues, attachment disorders and oppositional defiant disorder. She has found that animals, big or small, have the amazing ability to help restore our hearts and souls.

She believes that it’s her clients who best determine the kinds of life changes they need to make in order to improve their lives and it is her job to provide a safe and supportive setting to help them understand their process and practice the changes they want to make in order to reach a satisfying quality of life.
