Kim Walnes rode her legendary The Gray Goose on the US Three Day Event Team in the 1980’s.  In the process, they won Rolex, and were ranked third in the world.  As a housewife and mother of 2 young children in the mountains of VA, she and the eccentric and flighty Gray won the hearts of many as they captured the attention of the officials in the sport.  She and The Gray came to stand for a different way of riding…one in which the horse was a true partner with valued input.  Gray’s biggest lesson to Kim was that Fear can be transmuted into Love through Trust.

In the following years, the horses kept encouraging Kim to learn more about how humans function emotionally, and she attended many workshops, clinics, and finally Spiritual Life Coaching school.  All along the way she has kept a whole-istic view of horse/human partnership.  Her current horse, the stallion Gideon Goodheart, is gifted in emotional healing and communicating with humans, and together they partner to assist humans in realizing and living in the strength and joy of their own Heart songs.
